Luxor is often termed the world's greatest open-air museum, and, indeed, the monuments of Karnak (dramatically highlighted in a sound and -light show) and the splendorous sights on the opposite bank of the Nile are indeed worth the visit. here, in 1922, arguably the most famous tomb of the Egyptian nobles was discovered: King Tut-Ankh-Amon, or King Tut. At the end of a day of touring, yo'll doubtless be exhausted but having seen some of the greatest wonders of the ancient Egypt will make it a stay you'll remember all your life.

Egypt's Red Sea coast runs from the Gulf of Suez to the Sudanese border. Its mineral rich red mountain ranges in spired mariners of antiquity to dub the sea Mare Rostrum or Red Sea. Early Christian's monasteries were founded by hermits seeking seclusion in a wilderness sparsely populated by camel-trading Beyond tribes.
Still today, the eastern desert's crags and limestone wadis are virtually unexplored. But the waters themselves have miles of coral reefs with teeming underwater sea life, beaches dotted with ancient ports and a maritime history which stretches back to Pharoanic times.
Drivers find the waters a region of discovery and surprise as for thousands of years, ship sailed the waters and often sank laden with precious metals and gems. Smugglers, merchants, pirates and pilgrims made of the Red Sea a scene of adventure and shipwreck. Since the opening of the Suez Canal in 1869, the importance of the Red Sea was maintained as an international trade route and passage of India for Europeans travelers.

The route to the Promised Land where Isis sought Osiris and the Pharaohs found gold, where Moses witnessed the burning bush and Bedouins camped by Crusader forts.
Sinai is the great crossroad of three great regions. With 8,000 years of history, the region is one of great rocks and a sea of coral reefs.
