Day 1: Johannesburg/Windhoek
At Windhoek (capital of Namibia), you are greeted by your guide before transferring to your hotel. After breakfast, spend the day exploring this prosperous town and its handsome, colonial buildings. Overnight at Windhoek Country Club and Resort.
Day 2: Windhoek/Swakolpund
After breakfast, en route to Swakopmund, an attractive city that stood proudly displays its German colonial roots. Overnight at Swakopmund Hotel.
Day 3: Swakopmund
In the morning, travel south to Wallis Bay for a boat cruise- bottlenose dolphins and seals often come within touching distance and see flocks of up to 20.000 flamingos as well as many other freshwater and coastal birds. Travel through the Namib-Naukluft Park ( Namibia's largest, harboring a huge variety of eco-systems and landscapes that vary from granite mountains and canyons t estuaries and Moon Valley. Overnight at Swakopmund Hotel.
Day 4: Swakoprmund/khorixs
Depart early for the barren, desolate landscape of the Skeleton Cosst, a wildeness of dunes and coastal desert via Henries Bay to Cape Cross' 80.000-strong fur seal colon, before turning inland through scenic Damaralnad to thoraxes. Overnight at khrixas. Overnight at khorixas Rest Camp.
Day 5: khorixax/Etosha
Today , visit the Burnt Mountains, a 12- kilometer ridge of barren hills that give the appearance of having been scorched by immense fires; the petrified forests, where 200- million year old fossilized tree trunks are scattered over the veld, and at Twyfelfontein, view hundreds of pre-historic rock engravings. Lunch at khorixas before continuing to Etosha National Park, one of the largest in Africa and containing more than 100 species of mammals, including the endangered black rhino and black faced impala. Overnight at a rest camp in etosha.
Day 6: Etosha National Park
You have a full-day game drive in Etosha. The center of the park is a vast, flat salt pan- an eerie, blinding white landscape. The edge of the Etosha Pan has perennial springs which attract numerous animals and birds in the dry season, like the blue wildebeest, hyena and lion. Some 340 species of birds are found in the park - one of the most important breeding areas in southern Africa for the greater and lesser flamingos. When the pan fills with water, millions of these and other waterfowl congregate to feed and breed leave the park in the afternoon to sty overnight at Mokuti Lodge.
Day 7: Etosha National Park/Rundu
Head towards Rundu via Tsumeb and attractive, colonial Grootfontein. En route visit a unique museum at lake Otjikoto. Where in 1915 retreating German troops dumped ammunition and weapons. Varying in depth and shaped like an upside down mushroom, the lake was fronted when the roof of a huge dolomite cave collapsed. Stay overnight at the luxurious Nkwasi River Lodge. Located on the banked of ghe Okavango River and 20 kilometres north of rundu.
Day 8: rundu/Mundumo National Park
Travel via bargain and along the CapriviStrip (through which flow the Zambezi and the Okavango. Almost guaranteeing sightings of crocodile and hippo) to Lianshulu Lodge, on the banks of the kwando River in Mundumo National Park, noted for its prolific bird life. In the afternoon take a nature drive, a boat excursion or visit a traditional Captive village nearby. Overnight at Lianshulu Lodge.
Day 9: Mundumo National Park/Chobe National park
Drive via Katrina Mulilo, a pleasant town with lush vegetation and plenty of wildlife in the surrounding area and Ngoma, where you cross the border in to Botswana, to Chobe National park. After settling in to your riverside lodge, you can take. A sunset boat trip along the Zambezi, where elephants come to bathe, the big cats go hunting and crocodile lurk in the shallows. Overnight at Chobe Game Lodge.
Day 10: Chobe National Park
Today, your safari continues south, through Chobe's archetypal African landscape dotted with boabab trees to Lloyd's Camp, a luxurious, tented lodge overlooking a waterhole frequented by elephant and many species of antelope. Overnight at Lloyd's Camp where you hear the distant roaring of lions.
Day 11: Chobe National Park
Experienced guides accompany you on a game drive through an area rich in both animal and bird life - and where you may see packs of endangered wild dogs. In the afternoon relax at the lodge's waterhole and watch the night game become active. Overnight at Lloyd's Camp.
Day 12: Chobe National Park/ Victoria Falls
Breakfast follows a drive through the magnificent scenery of Chobe National Park to Kasane before you cross the border into Zimbabwe and head on to Victoria Falls. The noise of the water as it drops over the escarpment can be heard and den from miles away. Giving rise to its African name, "the Smoke that Thunders." Overnight at Elephant Hills Inter . Continental, Victoria Falls.
Day 13: Victoria Falls
After breakfast, the day is free for you to explore Victoria Fallx - perhaps to take a boat cruise along the Zambezi River, try white-water rafting, view the Falls from the air, go on a game drive or ride on horseback into the nearby Victoria falls Game Park. Overnight at the Elephant Hills Inter. Continental, Victoria Fall.
Day 14: Victoria Falls/Johannesburg
After breakfast, transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight to Johannesburg.
